Funeral services for Barbara Sue Chupp, 35, of Chouteau will be held Friday, December 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Eden Mennonite Church in Inola. Pastor Randy Huddleston will officiate. A family visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Grace Bible Church in Pryor. Services are entrusted to Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care.
Barbara Sue Chupp was born on September 29, 1981 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Nelson S. and Martha (Detweiler) Chupp. She passed away on December 2, 2016 at her home in Chouteau at the age of 35 years, 2 months and 3 days.
She grew up in Chouteau and was a lifetime resident there. She graduated from Chouteau High School in 2000 and then attended Rogers State University in Claremore where she earned her bachelor's degree. She worked for Rogers County Youth Services where she was a supervisor and loved working with children.
Barbara enjoyed traveling and going to bible study. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was very compassionate and a selfless person who would do anything for anyone. She was always smiling and her smile will be greatly missed by all who shared in her life.
She attended church at Grace Bible Church in Pryor.
She is survived by her parents, Nelson and Martha Chupp; two sisters, Joanne Ogg and husband Mark of Pryor and Jeanie Bartel and husband Steve of Marion County, Kansas; one brother, Keith Chupp of Chouteau; nine nieces and nephews, Beth, Heaven, Seth, Jake, Hannah, Jena, Valarie, Amanda, and Emma.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bill and Cassie Detweiler and her paternal grandparents, Sam and Barbara Chupp.
