Visitation for Billy Wade Couch, 66, Pryor, will be held on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor, all friends and family are invited to attend. Private graveside services will be held at a future date. Service arrangements are entrusted to Stephens-Key Funeral & Cremation Care in Pryor.
Billy Wade Couch was born on Sept. 26, 1950 in Tulsa to Billy Gene and Bobbie (Morgan) Couch. He passed away on Oct. 18, 2016 at his home in Pryor.
Billy attended school in Pryor, graduating from Pryor High School in 1968. He attended college at NEO A&M for one year then joined the United States Marine Corps in 1969 and served in Vietnam. During his service he became a decorated Marine, earning the M-1 Rifle Expert Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Vietnamese Campaign Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1973.
He and Sandra Wesche were married on Aug. 25, 1973 in Las Vegas, NV and they made their home in Pryor. He was a loyal family man and was extremely proud of his three sons, their wives and his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, watching softball but most of all he enjoyed working on his ranch in Adair where he always appreciated a good days work and the skill of a good cow trade. He will be greatly missed by all those who shared in his life.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of the home; his mother, Bobbie Couch of Claremore; three sons, Wade Couch and wife Laci of Vian, Luke Couch and wife Jana of Adair and Joseph Couch and wife Ashley of Tahlequah; five grandchildren, Gable, Lily, Eden, Roman and Tyne and one sister, Julia Couch of Tulsa.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill G. Couch.
