Bob was born Aug. 28, 1941 in Keota, Okla. to parents Onis Bryan Hope and Belle Marie (Wilhite) Hope.
Bob was a devout Christian and was an active member of the Stone Canyon Church of Christ, through the years he has built strong bonds and friendships with fellow Christians everywhere he has been.
Bob served proudly in the United States Army for three years, being stationed in Germany.
Bob enjoyed taking care of his cattle, mowing the lawn, hunting, fishing, and spoiling his grandkids.
Bob had a strong conviction that a man ought to work and he enjoyed working. He preached this daily to his children and grandchildren. He was very proud of all the accomplishments of his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: Onis Bryan Hope, Jr., Jess Hope, Harrell Hope, J.C. Hope, Gene Hope, U.L. Walton, and Dub Mathis; his sisters: Eunice Jetton, Wanda Hays, Dixie Hope, and Bertha Mahon.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Mary Johnson Hope; two daughters and their families: Delinda and David Reed of Claremore, Okla., Rhonda and Jimmy Foster of Claremore, Okla.; his grandchildren: Nathan and DaLayna Reed, Brandon and Lauren Reed, Hope and Grant Hibbard, and Blake Foster; three great-grandchildren: Emma Reed, Ryker Toone, and Rory Reed; two brothers: Buford Hope and Byron Hope; three sisters: Betty Moore, Berta Mae Hill and Beverly Stevens.
Bob never met a stranger. He was talkative, likeable and a friend to all. No matter where he went he found a friend or a friend of a friend in just a matter of minutes. His smile, caring personality and love for his family was evident in his daily life. We will miss him dearly.
