Bobbie's Story

A viewing and visitation for Bobbie Marie Couch, 93, of Adair will be held on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Stephens-Key Chapel in Pryor. A private family graveside will follow at a later date. Dr. Dan Lewis will officiate. Services are entrusted to Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care.
Bobbie Marie Couch was born on October 15, 1923 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Robert D. and Addie (Baty) Morgan. She departed this life on December 10, 2016 in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years, 1 month and 25 days.
Bobbie grew up and attended school in Bushy Head. She married Billy G. Couch on November 1, 1947 and they made their home in Pryor. In the early 60's she and her family moved from Pryor to Adair. Bobbie worked at home taking care of the family.
She loved cooking, baking, reading and using recipe books. She also enjoyed reading, listening music and taking care of her dogs. The greatest love of her life were her grandkids, she loved spending time with them. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.
She attended church at the First Baptist Church in Adair.
She is survived by one daughter Julia G. Couch of Tulsa; one daughter in law Sandy Couch of Pryor; three grandsons, Wade A. Couch and wife Laci of Vian, Luke Couch of Adair and Joseph R. Couch and wife Ashley of Tahlequah; five great grandchildren and one sister, Verna Bozeman of Tulsa.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Addie; her husband, Billy G. Couch; one son, Billy Wade Couch; one sister and three brothers.
