Bobbie Jo Parret was born May 2, 1959 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Wanda Irene (Osburn) and J.W. "Dub" Welch. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years, 7 months, and 5 days.
Bobbie lived in the Oaks, Oklahoma area most her life. She graduated Oaks Mission in 1977. She had been a part of the Rocky Ford Community Church and Mountain View Church. On May 22, 1998, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Bobbie and Johnny Lee Parret were united in marriage.
She worked for over 15 years at Simmons Industries in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Bobbie enjoyed sewing and "stamping up". As well, she enjoyed hitting the trails and going 4-wheeling. Most of all, she loved her family dearly and treasured the time she spent with each of them. Bobbie will be missed dearly.
Bobbie is survived by: her husband Johnny, of the home; 2 children: Audrea Lynn Laderach and husband Adam of Oologah, Oklahoma and James Vilanj and wife Tammy of Peggs, Oklahoma; 2 step-children: Kortanie Osborne of Twin Oak, Oklahoma and Cameron Parret of Twin Oaks, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren: Dustion Morgan, Joseph Vilanj, Destiny Vilanj, Bryce Osborne, and Sonny Osborne; 1 great granddaughter: Zoey Morgan; 1 brother: Billy Welch and wife Colleen of Oaks, Oklahoma; 1 sister: Susie McCrery and husband Henry of Oaks, Oklahoma; Numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Locust Grove Funeral Home Chapel in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Brother Skip Hambey will officiate.
