Bradley's Story

A celebration of the life of Bradley Wayne Headrick will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Chelsea. Burial will follow at Dawes Cemetery under the direction of DeLozier Funeral Service. 
Bradley passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was 22.
Born in Claremore, Okla. on Dec. 20, 1993 Bradley was the only child of Mike and Cindy (Padgitt) Headrick.  He attended Sequoyah Public Schools and graduated with the class of 2012. After graduation Bradley worked for Locke Supply in Claremore and was a Volunteer Fireman for the Tri-District Fire Department.
According to his Aunt Sonya, Bradley was a typical boy and that could not be more clearly seen than by the hobbies that he liked.  Motorcycles, Go-Carts and attending Drag Races just to mention a few. He had a huge appreciation for music and enjoyed listening to everything from rap to country. Bradley was also an avid fisherman and a talented artist. It was said by his family that he would spend countless hours sketching and drawing different kinds of cars. Bradley loved his family and his friends said that he had an outgoing personality and a big heart. He was always the friend that could be counted on to help you anyway he could. 
Bradley will be missed by all whose lives he touched.  He is survived by his parents Mike and Cindy Headrick, grandfather L.C. Headrick, grandmother Grace Padgitt, aunts and uncles Sonya Power, Teressa LeMaster and husband Eric, Jeff Headrick and wife Chris, Will Padgitt and wife Kathy, Sylvia Maupin and husband Jim and Debbie Lawson and husband Victor, and numerous cousins. He was proceeded in death by his grandmother Nina Headrick and grandfather Marvin Padgitt.
