Christopher passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 in Claremore. He was 29. The family has entrusted DeLozier Funeral Service, Chelsea with Christopher's care.
Born Dec. 10, 1988 in Bakersfield, Calif. to Nativdad and Elizabeth (Sammaripas) Gracia, Christopher was raised and educated in Inola where he played football for the Longhorns. Christopher excelled as an athlete. During his 3 years on the field, the Longhorns were undefeated. A young man that was filled with determination and a no quit attitude it surprised none of his family when he started his own business after high school. Christopher started a successful seasonal lighting business; an undertaking that he was very proud of. It was an accomplishment that very few at his age can say they had achieved.
A young man that loved his family and his nieces and nephews; Christopher would have told you it was the times with all of them that he held as the most precious. His family said he had an infectious smile and a huge heart. He was always a very giving person and would go out of his way to help anyone that asked him. Known for his sense of humor, family said Christopher should have been a standup comedian because he had a knack for telling jokes and making you laugh. Christopher enjoyed music and it would have to be said rap was his favorite.
This son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Christopher is survived by his parents, brother, Michael Gracia, sisters, Jacqueline Meadows and Katelynn Cristine Gomez, aunts, Lala Gomez, Carolina Gracia, Rita Juarez and husband Lupe, Tillie Webb and husband David, grandmother, Juanita Gracia, uncles, Lucio Gracia and wife Linda, Jesse Gracia, Gilbert Loya and wife Eloisa and Joe Tanner, and nieces and nephews, Ariana Nichole Gracia, Angel Marie Meadows, Rambo Scott Lloyd Meadows and Kiera Rae Meadows, numerous cousins, and a host of friends. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Simon and Elvira Sammaripas, and grandfather, Natividad Gracia.
