Cindy passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at her home in Claremore. She was 60.
The daughter of Oren and Shirley (Chase) DeLong was born June 28, 1957 in Hoisinigton, Kan. Cindy's family settled in Verdigris when she was in the seventh grade. She was somewhat of a tomboy during her early years and she always loved animals. Cindy graduated from Catoosa High School in 1975.
Cindy started dating Ramey Standlee in 1978 and the couple married April 26, 1980 in Tulsa. She worked as a teller for over twenty years for both Rogers County Bank and 1st National Bank in Claremore. Cindy loved gardening, crocheting, and reading all types of literature and novels.
To every person who ever met Cindy, she was known as the kindest, sweetest person they had ever met. She had a truly unique and bright soul that lights up any room and made everyone feel at home. There are no words to describe such a person. She will forever be loved and remembered by all of us fortunate enough to share in the glory that was her life.
Surviving family members include her husband Ramey Standlee; her children: Lance Standlee, Dr. Loren Standlee (Sabrina), and her stepdaughter Leslie Cummings (Steve); her grandchildren: Skylar Cummings (Haley), Hollie Cummings, Ryder Standlee, Aniston Caspersen, Knight Standlee, and Reign Standlee; her sister, Diane Payne; and her brother, Jimmy DeLong. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents.
