Funeral services honoring and remembering Evelyn Francille Neal will be held Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at Memorial heights Baptist Church in Claremore. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Evelyn Francille Neal, 95 of Claremore, passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018 in Owasso.
Evelyn was born Jan. 10, 1923 the daughter of Willie Jim and Myrtle (Garland) Cook (Momma and Poppa Cook).
Francille was born in Garland, Okla. on a farm outside of Stigler. She was the third of five children, and her job on the farm was to take care of the younger siblings. She attended grade school in Garland, graduated from Stigler High School, and then attended Business school in Tulsa.
Francille worked as a waitress, and hostess for many years at different eating establishments. She owned and operated "Campbells Café" in Stigler for many years, which is now the Stigler Café. She retired from the Sky Chef Restaurant at the Tulsa International Airport, and it was there while working at Sky Chef that she met the love of her life, W.T. Neal.
For fun, Francille enjoyed ballroom dancing and danced competitively at Arthur Murray Studios. She loved to travel, and enjoyed selling, and buying Mary Kay. Francille was a "people person" and made friends very easily. She volunteered at the Hillcrest Claremore Auxiliary, as well as volunteering at her church: Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Claremore.
Francille's legacy will be her love for her children and grandchildren.
Francille is survived by her children: Pamela Gail of Sacramento, Calif., Robert Barry Campbell and his wife, Sandy of Newport, News, Va., Jim Campbell and his wife, Itrechia of Claremore, and Kay Ullrich and her husband Steve of Vera, Okla.; seven grandchildren and their spouses: Robert and Liz Campbell, Jason and Lindsey Clyma, Jayme and Jeremy Bueller, Annie and Ben Belcher, Andrew Campbell and his fiancé: Gioia Varisi, Casey and Skyler Carter and Jahiem Ewen; seven great-grandchildren: Tristen Campbell, Brecken Bueller, Arbor Bueller, Addison Clyma, Avery Clyma, Gavin Carter, Waylon Carter, and Emmett Belcher; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
