Funeral services for Frank Grossman, 70, Pryor, are Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at 10a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church in Pryor. Father Celestine Obidiegwu and Father Ken Harder will officiate with burial following at the Grossman Family Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 5-7p.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rosary service will start at 7p.m.. Services are entrusted to Stephens-Key Funeral & Cremation Care in Pryor.
Franklin Paul Grossman was born on Nov. 15, 1945 in Canute, Okla., to Alva and Mary "Lena" (Green) Grossman. He passed away on Aug. 1, at his home in Pryor.
He grew up and attended school in Chouteau where he was a member of the Chouteau High School 1963 State Champion Basketball team. He graduated from Chouteau High School in 1964. He served in the Army National Guard from 1965-1971. Frank married Norma Davidson on May 17, 1969 and from their union came three sons and three daughters. They made their home in Pryor where Frank was a lifelong farmer and rancher. He was a member of Young Farmers from 1980-1986 and a charter member of the Green Country Tractor Club. He was also a member of the American Legion and Oddfellows and St. Mark Catholic Church in Pryor.
Frank loved spending time with his grandkids, eating ice cream and enjoyed visiting with his friends at Eastside Café. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by two sons, Sonny Grossman and wife Jonna and George Grossman and wife Jennifer both of Pryor; three daughters, Sheila Littlefield and husband John of Diamond, Missouri, Mary Goodson and husband Josh of Pryor and Laura Martin and husband John of Pryor; 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; two brothers, Pat Grossman and wife Karin of Chouteau and Dr. Bill Grossman of Rogers, Arkansas; one sister, Loretta Gates of Catoosa and 21 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Junior, Fred and John Ben Grossman, infant twin brothers and one son, Robert Grossman.
