On May 19, 1953 in Tulsa, Oklahoma Jeanne Louise Beasley flew into the world in Tulsa, Oklahoma to adoring parents and her big brother Fred. Jeanne was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma during her formative years, graduated from Will Rogers High School and then on to Northeastern Oklahoma A & M where she first crossed paths with Jimmy Joe Tramel. Following a whirlwind courtship they were married on May 18, 1973. Jeanne was the major breadwinner to during the college years. Before long the nest was filled with her precious little boy Matt and her darling daughter Susan. Jeanne came from a long line of great cooks, and became one herself after years of practice on Jimmy. Her special dishes became well-loved favorites at family gatherings. Jeanne had many careers over the course of her life. The common thread in every setting was that she was very well liked and people were drawn to her. She was last affiliated with Rogers State University as an Enrollment Counselor from where she retired in 2015. After retirement she dearly loved being with her grandchildren and her large and loving family. Jeanne had a beautiful singing voice and had an affinity for music. She especially loved gospel music which she could often be heard humming. Jeanne had a natural way of lifting people up and helping to lighten their burdens. Jeanne, at times, could have a fiery temper, and closely kept watch over her children and their spouses. The only family member who never received a dose of Jeanne’s temper was Kevin, her favorite. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Tramel, son Matt Tramel and wife TeAna and grandchildren Brooks, McKinLee and KessLee, daughter Susan Rhodes and husband Kevin and grandchildren Hayden, Bryce, her brother Fred and wife Paula, sister-in-law Pat (Sissy) and husband Paul, brother-in-law Roy Lee and wife Lynn, sister-in-law Shelly and husband Tony and many, many loved nieces and nephews and extended family. She is also survived by her very dear and faithful friend Sandi Dover. She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Lauredo Beasley and her parents-in law Joe and Von Tramel. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Women Active for Christ, through the Freewill Baptist Church, Pryor, Oklahoma
