Jon Darrel Hall was born Feb. 13, 1946 in Bakersfield, California to Earl and Alice (Wray) Hall. He spent the first few years of his life in California before the Hall family made a move to the greater Tulsa, Okla. area to establish their home. It was in Tulsa that Jon was reared and educated. Following high school, he married Glenda Lee Hollis and the two began a family of their own with the birth of children: LeAnne, Don and James.
It was during this time of supporting a growing family that Jon worked as a McDonald's manager by day and attended trade school by night. Upon completion of his technical training, Jon worked as a manual machinist. Most of his career was spent at CRC Evans in Tulsa, retiring in 2009 after 30 years of service. Simultaneously, Jon worked evenings as a security guard during much of that same time.
Following the loss of his wife, Glenda, Jon eventually found love again. On May 26, 2000 he married Barbara Lenore Crutchfield.
The couple made their home in the Foyil area and were members of Winganon Baptist Church.
For the last several years Jon has battled multiple health problems, however, he tried not to let that slow him down.
Jon continued to stay active for as long as possible - whether that was mowing the yard or helping Barbara around the house. When he was ready to relax, he could often be found sitting on the front porch swing with his constant companion, his Chihuahua, Stewie.
Jon passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 at home. He was 70.
