Keri Deonna Yeager was born on Nov. 28, 1965, in Muskogee, to James Beavers, Jr. and Ruby Inez (Andrews) Beavers. She departed this life on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, in Pryor, at the age of 50 years, 10 months, and 19 days.
Keri grew up in Locust Grove, where she attended school. She had completed a nurse's aid program called WINGS. She had spent most of her life as a Mayes County resident having spent some time in Chouteau and Inola. She has lived in Pryor for the past year. On December 31, 2011, in Eureka Springs, Ark., Keri and Keith Yeager were united in marriage.
Keri enjoyed reading, going to yard sales and watching movies. She attended the Divine Love Fellowship Church of Christ in Muskogee. Keri was a very strong individual and was very family oriented. She would want to remind everyone that those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near; they are still loved, still missed and very dear. As well. Keri would want everyone to live each day as it was your last. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Keri is survived by her husband: Keith Yeager of the home; 1 son: Johnny Willis and Magen of Locust Grove; 1 daughter: Stephanie Willis and Kirk Cook of Pryor; 2 grandsons: Joshua Willis & Braden Fox; 2 granddaughters: Jocelyn Willis and Hazelyn Cook; 2 brothers: Larry Beavers and wife Sharon of Peggs, and J.B. Staley of Ohio; 1 sister: Carolyn Hampton and husband Kai of Pryor; Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Keri was preceded in death by: her parents and an infant brother: James.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 at Ballou Baptist Church, in Locust Grove. Rev. Duke Pickup will officiate. Interment will follow at the Ballou Cemetery in Locust Grove. Services have been entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
