Leslie P. Felton, 70, Elkhart, passed away at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born Jan. 11, 1947, in Muncie, to Robert V. and Violet (Strickler) Felton. On Dec. 1, 2001, he married Patricia Smith, and she survives.
Leslie graduated from Center High School in 1965 and worked as a line repairman for Indiana Bell and Ameritech for over 20 years before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed watching movies at the movie theater and building hot rod cars.
In addition to his wife, Patricia Felton, he is survived by his children, Leslie A. (Bridgette) Felton, Kokomo, Aaron (Freda) Felton, Junction City, Kansas, and Harold "Ike" (Nancy) Felton, South Bend; stepson, Bob (Danita) Burgh, Mishawaka; grandchildren, Michael, Kimberly, Andreiya, Anastasia, Morgan, Hailey, Hayden, Martin, Edgar, Nancy, Ivan, Shaiel, and Harley Burgh; and great-grandchild, Sydmund.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Lester.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Roy Hughes officiating. Friends are invited to visit from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
