A memorial service to celebrate the life of Libby Ann Fairchild nee' Graves of Bixby will be 10 a.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, Okla., under the direction of DeLozier Funeral Service, Chelsea.
Libby went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. She was 67.
Libby was born in Claremore, Okla. on Jan. 13, 1949 to T. Jack and Norma Clarice Catherwood Graves.  Libby lived in numerous states and abroad in her youth growing up in a military family. She graduated from Aberdeen High School, Aberdeen, Maryland in 1967.  Following High School, Libby attended Oklahoma State University before marrying Ronald R. Wallis in Claremore, Okla. Libby and Ron were divorced in 1972. 
Libby worked as a legal secretary in Tulsa where she met her future husband Michael J. Fairchild.  Libby began her 35-year career at CITGO Petroleum in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and later moving to Houston, Texas with CITGO where she retired in 2011. Upon retirement, Libby found "her dream home" in Bixby, Oklahoma near her sister and brother-in-law, Janice and Steven Bennett.  Libby enjoyed decorating her home, cooking, gardening, and entertaining her family and friends. She loved to travel in search of antiques, and art reminiscent of her life especially from living in France. 
Libby adored her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Claremore.
Libby is preceded in death by her parents Norma Clarice Catherwood Heriford, and T. Jack Graves of Claremore, Oklahoma; grand parents Lois Parkhurst Catherwood, and Carl King Catherwood of Claremore, and Hazel and David Graves of Claremore. 
Survivors include sister and brother-in-law Janice and Steven Bennett of Bixby, son and daughter-in-law Dr. Clinton and Kaisa Wallis of Oklahoma City, son Edward Fairchild of Los Angles, California, daughter Miranda Fairchild and Matt Anderson of Tulsa, and brother Bill Jack Graves of Oologah, Oklahoma.
Precious surviving grand children are Camden, Thatcher, Ian and Elle Wallis, Joyce Anderson, and friend and children's father Michael J. Fairchild Esq., and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
