Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of DeLozier Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m., today, at the funeral home with family there to receive visitors.
Lorie went to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. She was 51.
Born on March 31, 1965 in Athens, Texas, Lorie was one of three children gifted to W.R. and Martha (Sparks) Morgan. After graduating from Claremore High School with the Class of 1983, she furthered her education by attending Claremore Junior College and then going on to Oklahoma State University. It was there that Lorie received her Bachelors of Science in Education graduating with honors. Devoted to her career, Lorie had the opportunity to teach in several different communities, such as Chelsea, Tulsa, Claremore, and Broken Arrow schools.
When God blessed Lorie with children of her own she excelled at her role as being a mother.  She was always at all of her children's sporting events or any other activity they were involved in.  She truly was their biggest fan and was very proud of all their accomplishments.  When Lorie had free time she loved to read, color, or prepare a huge breakfast for her family. It was also much to the delight of her family that she had recently developed a taste for Chinese food. Lorie enjoyed being a part of the ladies bible study group at her church and applying God's word to her life.
This mother, daughter and friend will be missed by all whose lives she touched.  Lorie is survived by her children, Sam and Shaydee Hill, parents, W.R. and Martha Morgan, brothers, Daron Morgan and wife Shauna and Dwaine Morgan and wife Roxann, the father of her children, Willie Hill, and puppy Charlie, numerous nieces and nephews and one great niece. Lorie was preceded in death by her grandparents.
