Michael "Boots" Dixon, 64, of Crossville, passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at Wyndridge Health and Rehab Center.
He was born Oct. 7, 1953, in Detroit, MI, son of Ray Daniel Dixon and Hazel Louise (Potter) Dixon.
Boots worked for many years at Avery Dennison. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and four-wheeling. But most of all, he loved his family. He will surely be missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his sons, Justin Cody (Amarilis) Green of Cookeville and Chance Dixon of Crossville; grandchildren, Blaze Michael Dixon, Caleb Braxton Green, Dakota William Green and Miya Maria Green; mother, Hazel Louise Dixon, Crossville; brothers, Stephen Dixon of Crossville and Joey Dixon of Washington; and sister, Dianne Hinline, Crossville.
Boots was preceded in death by his father, Ray Daniel Dixon, and a baby sister.
Funeral services will be held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017, at 10 a.m. with Bro. Stan Green officiating. Interment in Turner Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bilbrey Funeral Home to help pay for funeral expenses.
