Born Oct. 7, 1975 in Claremore, Okla., Michael was one of three sons gifted to David and Pat (DeMoure) Mullins. He was raised and educated in his birth community and graduated from Claremore Christian School. After graduation Michael went on to attend college. He married the love of his life Rachel Arnold in an Inola, OK ceremony on August 8, 2009. Michael provided for his family by working as a paramedic for Pafford and EMSA. He excelled at his career and with his patients because of his gift of a caring and compassionate heart. Michael was also a volunteer fireman for the Tri District Fire Department in Claremore for a number of years.
Described by his family as a man with an infectious smile and the favorite Uncle to his nieces and nephews; Michael loved the Fourth of July and could always be counted on to provide the fireworks. An avid duck hunter and fly fisherman, Michael enjoyed the outdoors. The camping and fishing trips to the Cimarron River with his family were something they all looked forward to. He taught his nieces and nephews not only to hunt but to have an appreciation for the outdoors as well.
This husband, brother, uncle, and friend will be missed by all whose lives he touched. Michael is survived by his wife Rachel, parents, David and Pat Mullins, brothers, Robert Mullins and wife Kim, and Ryan Mullins and wife Mindi, and his nieces and nephews, Madelyn Workman, Greyson Mullins, Grant Mullins, Patrick Mullins, Garrett Mullins, Mason Mullins, Jayde Mullins, Gage Mullins, McKenna Mullins and Dazie Mullins. He was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Leota Greeley, grandparents, William Mullins and Wendell and Patsy DeMoure.
