I've known Mike for a very long time & it saddens me so about his passing. Please accept my sincere condolences for his family and friends. He was a great man but when he was young and we went to Justus, he used to call me skinny pockets all the time. Pockets is my nickname ( from my Dad about my overalls ). Anyway, I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP Mike.

Mike is my hero. I am so thankful my life was influenced by his work ethic, his kind heart, and his love for his family and mine. I think back on all the memories of working cattle and eating donuts, breaking out my front teeth and watching my dad ride broncs while trying to rope. My childhood and now my adulthood has been shaped so much by how he lived in front of us. I wish the roads were clear enough to drive and be there but I am thinking of you!

I met mike on the job site one day. He came to my job site to talk business. There he shared his philosophy on work. It was then I knew I needed to make the switch. Of course soon after that he retired to be with the cows full time. It was his natural ability to be honest and listen to me that convinced me I needed to partner with him. He was a great one of which the mold has been broke. Love him and his family and his legacy. Rip

We remember when tyler and Kodi were babies, ever time we would come over for a visit, he would find what ever chocolate he could find and feed it to them! We would say something about not giving them chocolate, and he would laugh!, and laugh! I think he enjoyed that! Maybe paying Thomas back for all his shenanigans! He was a very well respected man, father, and grandfather! We will miss and love him always!
