Patsy Jean "Pat" Foreman was born December 15, 1926 in Wichita, Kan. to Dee and Leota (Rogers) Foreman. She was reared and educated in her birth community where she was a graduate of North High. Following high school, Pat attended Wichita State before beginning a civil service job during World War II.
In the early 1950's, Pat married Wendell Harrington DeMoure and the couple established their home first in Wichita, later moving to Rogers County, Oklahoma.
Once in the area, Pat began employment with Rogers State College where she served as a secretary for several years. She later established DeMoure's Beauty Salon where she was privileged to build many treasured, lasting relationships through the years.
A loving, caring and generous mother and 'Grandma', Pat loved being with her family and often those cherished times were spent around the kitchen table as she fixed each one's favorite meal or treat. A skilled pianist and musician, as well as, painter, artist and seamstress, Pat also enjoyed gardening, working crossword puzzles and spoiling her little dachshund, 'Tink'.
Pat passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 in Claremore after a short illness. She was 89.
She is survived by: five children: daughter, Lani DeMoure of Tulsa, daughter, Pat (DeMoure) Mullins of Claremore, daughter, Julie (DeMoure) Parrish of South Dakota, daughter, Christie (DeMoure) Aller of Washington, son, Dana Scott DeMoure of Claremore. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by: her parents: father, Dee Foreman and mother, Leota Greeley; her husband, Wendell Harrington DeMoure and atheir young son, Gregory Scott DeMoure.
