Paula Feldhaus, 59, of Jeffersonville, IN, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 3:58 p.m. at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Paula was the biological daughter of Troy Williams and Mary Rock, and was raised by Orville and Annie Jeffries in Bedford, IN. Paula leaves behind a loving husband, Charles Feldhaus (60); sons, Corbin (27) and Cauldon (23); siblings Donna Burgess and Jim Corey of Bedford, Indiana and Tammy Corps of Martinsville, IN. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Paula was born on October 24, 1958 in Bedford, IN. She attended Bedford North Lawrence High School (BNL) before graduating from cosmetology school in 1985. Professionally, Paula was a cosmetologist in Bloomington, IN, and Jeffersonville, IN for over 30 years. She was incredibly talented in all aspects of aesthetics and design, and her clients loved her dearly.
Paula married Charles Feldhaus on March 21, 1985, in Bloomington, IN. They were happily married for 32 years. Paula's sons were the apple of her eye, and she loved them more than anything in world.
Paula was an incredibly amiable woman, and anyone who knew her understands just how wonderful she truly was. She was reliable, organized, accountable, and always friendly. She greeted everyone with a beautiful smile and a warm hello that could brighten the day in an instant. Paula had an outstanding sense of humor, a quick wit, and loved all music especially Rhythm and Blues. She was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed being in the wind with Charlie on the back of their Harley Davidson. A passionate animal lover, Paula is also survived by her two dogs, Millie Blue and Luna. Paula could be the life of the party or a quiet shoulder to lean on in hard times. She was truly a well-rounded, empathetic, and complete human being who will be missed by all.
Per her wishes and living will, Paula was cremated and no funeral service will be held. The family will, however, be hosting a "Celebration of Life" sometime during the Spring of 2018. Any and all who were involved in Paula's life or have felt the influence of her love in their own lives will be invited to attend.
