Phyllis Ruth Crippen passed away at age 85 on Thursday, Sept. 21.
She was a long time resident of Claremore. She was born in Optima, Okla. on June 9, 1932 to parents Oscar and Ruth Brune. Phyllis married Jack Crippen on April 6, 1951. A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 25 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Claremore.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter Jacalyn Donnini and husband Edward of Owasso; sons Jeffrey Crippen and wife Jodi of Texhoma, Okla. and Jon Crippen and wife Tanya of Arlington, Texas; siblings Marcus Brune of Guymon, Okla., LaRue Kiser of Liberal, Kan., Dall Brune and wife Pat of Ridgecrest, Calif., and Carolyn Blair and husband Wendell of Tishomingo, Okla.; grandchildren Nathan Donnini and wife Kara of Owasso, Okla., Mark Donnini of Owasso, Gregory Donnini of Tulsa, Skyler Crippen of Austin, Texas, Taylon Crippen of Texhoma, Okla., Kelsi and Taysi Peterson of Texhoma, Morgan Crippen of Arlington, Texas and Drew Crippen of Arlington ; and great-grandchild Jackson Donnini of Owasso.
Phyllis was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Crippen, daughter Suzann, and her brother Evain Brune and wife Minnie.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
