Events

A memorial service celebrating and remembering the life of Rebecca "Becky" "Sis" Jane Rose will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 1, 2019 at Foyil United Methodist Church. Becky passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 in Tulsa. The family has entrusted DeLozier Funeral Service, Chelsea with Becky's care.
Born in Claremore, OK on November 19, 1942 to Henard and Orgie (Romines) Andrews, Becky was raised and educated in the Foyil area and graduated from Foyil Public Schools. Becky had three brothers and according to her family they were always quick to see that Becky was home on time and not out causing trouble. It could be said that because of her brothers Becky became a woman that could be described as head strong and determined. She was one of the first women installers for SWB and she even climbed the telephone poles as well as any man on the job. She remained in the communications field until her retirement.
On August 17, 1977 Becky married the love of her life, Buck Rose, in an Independence, MO ceremony. Together they became a blended family with five children. It was family that was always important to her and she loved the times they could all be together. Becky appreciated the outside and tending to her garden and the many flowers that would put a smile on her face. She enjoyed canning and her salsa from garden tomatoes was a family favorite. In later life Becky liked talking about the old family farm where she grew up. She was quick to tell you how pleased she was that nephew David and his family were building their house there. She enjoyed reading and her daughter said anything by Louis L'Amour was her mom's first choice.
Becky's legacy will continue in the many family and friends that were a part of her life. Becky is survived by her children, Amanda Snelling, Rod Rose and wife Debbie, Rhonda Wood and husband Tray, grandchildren, Asa Thomas, Abi McClain, Rance Corp, Robyn Corp, Bryan Provence and wife Stephanie, Whitney Goodwin, Wade Goodwin, Jamee Wood, Will Wood, Nicole Rose, Tiffany Barnum, and Samantha VanDyke, brothers, Travis Andrews, and Dan Andrews and wife Mary, sister in law, Martha Andrews, and numerous nieces and nephews. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, husband Buck, daughter, Randa Johnson, son, Radley Rose, brother, Charles Andrews and sister in law, Glenda.
