Robin Elaine Weisenborn, 56, of Hopewell Road, Fairmont, passed away Tuesday morning in United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
She was born Oct. 23, 1961, in Wheeling, daughter of the late Leland and Ruth Grubb McWhorter.
Robin was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Fairmont.
She was a graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a graduate of West Liberty University with a BA in sciences. Robin had been employed for Quintiles, out of Raleigh, North Carolina, with 10 years of service as a training manager.
She enjoyed reading, cooking and traveling to her mountain home in Romney. She enjoyed all family activities and spending time with her grandchildren, who lovingly called her "Ruga".
Survivors include her husband, Scott Weisenborn of Fairmont; two daughters, Jordan and her husband Zachery Brimacomb of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, and Kelly Weisenborn-Six of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Ellie Brimacomb of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, and Kenzie McIntyre and Anneleise Six of Fairmont; a sister and her husband, Sandy and David Pell of Wheeling; two brothers and their spouses, Lee and Debbie McWhorter of Wheeling, and Glenn and Ruthie McWhorter of Wheeling; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Robin has chosen cremation services. The family will greet friends from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at Ford Funeral Home, Ford Chapel, 201 Columbia St., Fairmont. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with Reverend Elise Renee Neal officiating.
