Nancy Beth Honeycutt of Locust Grove, died Saturday, Feb. 13. Born to parents Chester and Grace Livergood on Oct. 9 1939 Nancy spent her youth in the Tulsa Oklahoma area. She graduated from Central High school in 1957 then continued on to attend Oklahoma University later enjoying a career in the secretarial field. On June 3, 2000 she was married to Charles Honeycutt and they built a wonderful life together at Lake Hudson where they would remain. Nancy enjoyed the beauty of the lake and found great happiness in the company of her dogs, whom she loved dearly. She was a member of the First United Church of Locust Grove and will be remembered fondly by many friends there. Honeycutt is survived by one son, Greg Honeycutt and wife Stephanie Honeycutt of Broken Arrow; one daughter, Renee Ternes and husband Darryn Ternes of Derby, Kan.; two grandsons:, Gavin Honeycutt of Broken Arrow, and Alex Koenig and wife Lanie of Mulvane Kan.; two nephews: Craig Livergood and wife Pam of Fort Worth, Texas and Kyle Livergood of Lone Oak, Texas; one niece, Cathy Costello and husband Tom of Cedar Hill, Texas; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and one brother: Bruce Livergood. Memorial services for Nancy Beth Honeycutt, 76, of Locust Grove, will be held 10 a.m., Friday, Feb. 19, at the First United Methodist Church in Locust Grove. Pastor Matt Franks will officiate. Honeycutt, a longtime Locust Grove resident, died on Saturday, February 13. Cremation services have been entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
