Carol Sue Pollock of Collinsville, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at the age of 86. Carol was born on September 13, 1937, to Prentiss Leroy and Iva Lavada (Smithey) Hayes in Chelsea, OK. After high school, Carol attended Draughns Business School to become a secretary. She worked for many years as an executive secretary at American Airlines. Carol was an active person. She enjoyed square dancing, bowling, fishing, and was a sports fanatic. Carol was also an excellent cook. Carol and Aubrey married July 11th, 1954. She and her husband resided at Airman Acres outside of Collinsville. Carol was very proud of her pilots license and enjoyed flying.

Carol is survived by her daughter Robin Chailer and Howard Shepard; her granddaughter Channing Chisum and husband Cayle; 3 sisters, Vera Joy Baker, Glenda Annette Bellamy, and June Rolston; and a host of extended family and friends. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Aubrey, and two brothers, Guy Leroy Hayes and Prentiss Eugene Hayes.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm, Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Talala Christian Church.
