Senatobia, MS - Carolyn Higdon, 82, of Senatobia, MS, formerly of Oklahoma, passed away August 6, 2025 at Providence Assisted Living. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years and was a long time employee of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma in Tulsa. She loved caring for others. Carolyn was very adventurous and wanted to see and do everything she could in life. She was loved dearly by everyone that knew her. Above all, Carolyn knew and followed Christ. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Joni Post (Johnny); son, Chad Higdon (Jennifer); grandchildren, Mallorie Humble, Ella Higdon, and Emma Higdon; and nephew, Scott Potter (Kristin). She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Gladys Ragan; daughter, Beth Humble, and sister, Elaine Potter.
A celebration of Carolyn's amazing life will be held at a future date in the Tulsa/Claremore, OK area. Carolyn loved flowers, but in lieu of them, please make donations to the American Heart Association if so led.
