Born Oct. 15th 1951.


Daughter of Raymon O. and Marion Ruth Collins Kizer of Claremore, Ok.


Carolyn attended Sequoyah School and Tulsa V0-Tech. She later received her degree in nursing from Temple, Villanova & LaSalle University.


She worked as an ER, ICU, PICU, and research nurse for Albert Einstein hospital in Philadelphia. She returned home to Claremore, OK. She helped care for her mother & retired from Claremore Regional. Her finest accomplishment was her children, James Raymon (Sugar Bear) Kilpatrick, Veronica Lee (Sissy) Brunson, Robert Allen (Hob Nob) Kilpatrick.


She loved to teach. She was happiest with her Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, sewing, carpentry, painting and riding her motorcycle.


She was married to Kenneth Thomason — the love of her life!


Carolyn & KT made their home in Inola where her children were raised.


Preceded in death by her parents Raymon & Ruth & brothers James & Ronnie.


She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Thomason. Son James Kilpatrick & his wife, Kathi. Daughter Veronica Brunson & husband, Tom. Son Robert Kilpatrick and wife Shirley. Her five grandsons, Roderick Haas, Cameron Higgins, Braden Kilpatrick, Tanner Higgins and Bryson Kilpatrick, along with 13 great-grandchildren.


She was loved & respected by all the lives she touched.
