Catherine Patricia Smith, age 94, of Brimley, MI passed peacefully on August 4, 2023.

Catherine was born to John Eagan and Ellen (McClellen) on October 12, 1928, in Verona, NJ.

Catherine was a 25-year resident of Verdigris, OK. Her family will always remember her for her baking, especially her rolls, cream puffs and wacky cake, her love of dessert, playing the organ, her dedication to her Catholic faith and attendance at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.

Catherine is predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years James Smith (1925-2010), mother and father John and Ellen Eagan, and siblings Jack Eagan, Jim Eagan, and Helen Regan.

She is survived by her brother William Eagan, her five children, Mary Ann Luoma and her husband Ken, Sault Sainte Marie, MI, Jim Smith and his wife Nancy, Brimley, MI, John Smith and his wife Nina, Marquette, MI, Tom Smith and his wife Carol, Broken Arrow, OK, Mike Smith and wife Ali, Brimley, MI. Catherine was proud to have seven grandchildren, Holly Neveu, Chelsea Haller, Brian Smith, Sydney Brown, Samantha Smith, Corey Smith, Scott Smith and twelve great-grandchildren.
