Gary Douglas Miller passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025. At the age of 72.
Gary was born in Tulsa, OK on December 8, 1952, to Donald D. Miller and Lavora Mae Miller.
Gary worked at McDonnell Douglas for many years until the plant closed down. He was the owner of GM Designs and designed custom homes. Gary enjoyed working with his clients and builders.
Gary served in the US army for 4 years active and 2 years reserve. He spent a year of his service in Korea. He was proud to serve his country.
Gary loved to travel, he and his best friend Greg Province traveled to Colorado on motorcycles, for 30 years and counting.
Gary loved working in his yard and loved flowers and plants; He loved being Poppy to his grandkids.
Gary is survived by two sons: Travis and Heather Miller of Owasso, Jeremy Miller of Claremore. Grandsons: Drake and Isaac. Granddaughter Reese. Brothers: Terry Don Miller of Owosso, Randall Lee and Patty Miller of Claremore. Sister: Connie and Jim Taylor of Claremore. 9 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews.
There will be a remembrance of Gary on January 18, 2025, at the vessel church, 1301 W Country Club Rd. Claremore, OK. From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
