Gloria Yvonne Meeks, aged 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

Born in Martinez, CA, she was the daughter of Albert Mount and Wilma (England) Patterson. She was raised in Claremore, and spent her childhood there. Upon finishing school she began working as a waitress and later worked at Fair Meadows Down in Tulsa.

In 1966 on a blind date, Gloria met Jerry Meeks, whom she married on July 8, 1966. Their life together led them through various residences in Claremore, Chelsea, and Foyil. Gloria's primary focus was her family, and she devoted herself to nurturing her children. She actively supported her children's interests in Girl Scouts, Sports and many other activities.

During her leisure time, Gloria found joy in reading, playing bingo, taking trips to Branson, and indulging in shopping. However, her greatest source of happiness was her family, particularly her children and grandchildren.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Mount and Wilma Patterson, her sister Sharon Harris, and grandson Timmy Malone.

She is survived by her loving husband Jerry Meeks; children, Westly Meeks and wife Amanda, Joseph Meeks, Robin Mount and husband Traci, Vickie Malone and husband Jimmy, and Lesa Rasmussen and husband Aric; grandchildren, Ashley and husband Lucas Mallory, Kris and wife Amanda, Corey, Jeremy, Calleigh, Mackenzie, Zachery and wife Colby Meeks, Westly Jr., Jessica, and Aden; great-grandchildren, Rhyder, Kaylee, Paislee, Ezekiel, and Israel; brother, Thomas Patterson, and sister, Shirley Adair, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
