Janice Mary Keenan, age 87, Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 21, 2024, while visiting her son's home in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Janice was born July 7, 1937, in Okmulgee Oklahoma. She was a 1955 graduate of Okmulgee High School and then studied Art at the University of Oklahoma.
She and her husband, Thompson Keenan, were married on October 5, 1962, and resided in Claremore, Oklahoma, where they raised their four children: Leslie Kathaleen Heskett, Laura Anne Blackwood, Graham Edward Keenan, and Kenneth Stuart Keenan. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Janice was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Family and friends will celebrate the life of Janice Mary Keenan on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., at Woodlawn Cemetery in Claremore, Oklahoma.
