Claremore - Lynda Lou Bettinger, 78, of Mannford, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026. She was born August 20, 1947, in Aurora, Missouri, to Charles Edward (Ed) and Dorothy Marie Hendrickson. The family later settled in Claremore, Oklahoma, where Lynda attended school for all twelve years and remained proudly connected to lifelong friends.

Lynda married Johnnie Lee Davis on June 10, 1966, and they welcomed a son, John Brent Davis, who was the joy of her life. Following a divorce, Lynda lived in Tulsa and built a successful career, including work on the team that managed construction of the Williams Tower. She later joined American Airlines, advancing to Warranties Manager.

In 2004, Lynda married Rob Bettinger, and they made their home near Mannford.

Lynda was creative and generous, known for cake decorating, dollhouse miniatures, and volunteer service, including seven years as a church secretary. She deeply valued friendship and delighted in celebrating babies and new life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry Hendrickson.

She is survived by her husband, Rob Bettinger; her son, Brent Davis (Gina); stepchildren Eric Bettinger (Jessica) and Kathy Crawford (Scott); siblings Norma Gage and James Hendrickson (Sally); grandchildren Harrison Davis (Laurel Anne), Carter Davis (Libby), Matt Bettinger (Curri), Alyssa Bettinger, Kellsie Bettinger, Brody Delph, Liam Crawford, Nora Crawford, and Landon Bettinger; and great-grandchildren Aiden Bettinger, Brecklen Kelly, Jaxon Kelly, Harper Kelly, Harvey Bettinger, and Bonnie Bettinger.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Mannford Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mannford Methodist Church, PO Box 510, Mannford, OK 74044 would certainly be accepted.
