Wichita Falls, Texas - Mary Lou Boudreaux, 91, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and lovingly known as "Grandma" to many others, passed away on December 30, 2025 after a lengthy illness.
A Celebration of Mary's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 10, 2026 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls, with Pastor Chad Stubblefield officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home.
Mary was born on October 24, 1934 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the youngest of Sam and Telie Warman's four daughters. She married Donald Ralph Boudreaux and together they raised six children for many years in Claremore, and then in Wichita Falls. She was an amazing woman and devoted, loving mother to her children, welcoming the new generations of thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
She was an avid reader. She grew in knowledge and the practice of her Christian faith through Bible studies. For some years she was active in political processes, attending conventions in Austin. She valued her involvement in TOPS and achieved the KOPS level while mentoring and encouraging others. The awards ceremonies were special to her. She enjoyed collecting English teapots and vintage biscuit jars.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of seventy years Don Boudreaux; her sons, Kevin, Phillip and his wife Pat and son Chris; son-in-law Nelson Robertson; sisters, Gladys Spencer, Helen Cloud and Barbara Tipps; brothers-in-law Duane Boudreaux, Gary Boudreaux, and Claude Boudreaux and wife Wynell.
She is survived by daughters Donna Robertson, Cynthia (Marcus) Taylor, Christy (Leslie) Slack, and Cathy (Paul) Harrison; her many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Charles (Cindy) Boudreaux; and sister-in-law Lori Boudreaux.
