Rev. Richard Lee Cook, 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Claremore, Oklahoma on February 17, 2025. He was born August 27, 1942 in Danville, Illinois.
Richard spent his early adult life in rock-n-roll bands, but after finding Christ in 1969, he devoted his life to Christian service. Graduating Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1974, Richard spent the next 35 years as a full-time minister in Texas, Oklahoma, and Illinois.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Ann Cook; 4 children; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services are being planned later in the spring, and Richard would remind us all of his favorite bible passage - II Timothy 4:7:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
