Robert "Bob" Stephen Hoelle Obituary
Claremore - Robert "Bob" Stephen Hoelle, 70, of Claremore, passed away peacefully at his home on November 7, 2025.
Born in California to Irene (Emhof) Hoelle and Herbert J. Hoelle, Bob grew up in many places across the country before settling in Oklahoma, where he made his home.
A graduate of Clemson University with a degree in psychology, Bob dedicated his career to public service through his work with the Oklahoma State Welfare Department, where he made a lasting difference in the lives of others.
Bob loved the game of golf and found joy and friendship on the course. He will be remembered for his calm presence, dry wit, and genuine heart.
He is survived by his brother, Herbert J. Hoelle Jr.; step-sister, Michele McKimmey; and step-brothers, Christopher Hoelle and Stephen Hoelle.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate his life.
