Joplin, MO - Roger Darrell Leath 73 of Joplin, MO passed June 20, 2025. Born August 21, 1951, in Aurora, MO to Ueal Cecil Leath and Lorene Myrtle Brashers.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Nova Marie, Catherine Geniva, Wilda Loretta, Norma Lee, and Harold Cecil. With one surviving brother Delbert Wayne Leath of Reed Springs, MO.

Married June 12, 1971 to Ella Louise Wilson and to this marriage had three children: Michael Joe of Branson, MO; Jeremy Andrew (married to Candice Rene Green) of Collinsville, OK; Travis Darrell (preceded in death).

His grandchildren are Mckenna McWilliams (Aurora, MO), Alexandria Masteller (Joplin, MO), Harley Leath (MO), and Joshua Leath (Collinsville, OK).

His great grandchildren are Raiden, Layton, Reese, and Xander.

Celebration of life services are going to be held on Saturday, July 12th 10am at Chesapeake Baptist Church (10860 Lawrence 1212 Mt. Vernon, Missouri 65712).

In lieu of flowers, we request donations be made to Ruckman Cemetery (final resting place). Below is information.
