Royetta Saddler Obituary

Claremore - Royetta Saddler, 94, of Claremore, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on December 29, 2024. Her passing leaves a void felt by all her family and friends.

Royetta was born in Abilene, KS on January 1, 1930 to Roy and Rata High but moved to the Rogersville, MO area as a young child. After losing her mother in a tragic accident in 1934 she was raised by her paternal grandparents, Will and Ada High. She met Earl "Gene" Saddler as a first grader and on March 15, 1946 they were married in Springfield, MO and began their lives together. They started a family and faithfully stood by each other for over 65 years until Gene passed away in 2011.

Royetta enjoyed being a housewife and mother, loved to cook and garden, was a talented seamstress, and reading and crocheting were her favorite hobbies. Though she worked outside the home when necessary, her family was her priority and making a home was truly her calling. She was active in her church and volunteered as the secretary/treasurer for several years and in various other ways. She accepted Christ as Savior in her early 20's and lived a godly life for the remainder of her days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Norman High.

She is survived by:

Daughters Bonnie Eagleburger and husband Howard of Claremore, Donna Karren and husband John of Marshfield, MO and son Bruce Saddler of Claremore.

Granddaughters Margie Wooten and husband Chuck of Chelsea, Jessica Avilla of Fulton, CA, Jennifer Bolton and husband Jason of Sacramento, CA.
