Sherri Rankin Robison, the firstborn daughter of late Arlice and Betty Rankin, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 18, 2023. She was born in Claremore, OK, on November 16, 1948, and passed away in her hometown at the age of 75.
Sherri was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart, Ronnie Robison, on April 23, 1971, and they spent a wonderful 52 years in marriage. Their marriage was blessed with one daughter, Brandi Lei Robison, who was brought into the world on November 19, 1974.
Sherri found salvation as a child and reaffirmed her relationship with the Lord as a young adult. She served in the church for over 30 years and was a true disciple of Christ, displaying a consistent life of encouragement and love for every person she came in contact with.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Sherri was a positive and Godly influence on the lives of the people around her, with her generous and patient spirit providing a calming presence in any room she stepped into. Sherri leaves behind a wide-reaching legacy of love and service and will be missed dearly by many friends and family. She is now dancing with her Savior in heaven.
Sherri is preceded in death by her father and mother, Arlice Rankin, and Betty Fugate Rankin.
She is survived by husband of the home, Ronnie of Claremore, OK; daughter Brandi Clinton and husband Rob of Claremore, OK; sister Shelli Long and husband Wayne of Bernice, OK; sister-in-law Mae Lee and husband Bob of Claremore, OK; nieces Tracy Robison and husband Tony of Chelsea, OK, Shonda Montgomery and husband John of Chelsea, OK, Cassie McKellips and husband Adam of Claremore, OK, Melissa Lacy-Miller of Claremore, OK; nephew Jason Lee of Kansas City, MO; grandsons Bryan Clinton and wife Taylor of Collinsville, OK and Tyler Clinton of Foyil, OK; granddaughters Taylor Clinton of Pryor, OK, Zoie and Rubie McKellips of Claremore, OK, and many loving great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Sherri's celebration service will be held at First Baptist Church Claremore on Thursday, December 21, at 11:00 a.m.
