Wilma was born on August 15, 1942, in Claremore to Lee Robert "Jay" and Pearl Ladema Harris. Her journey through life was filled with moments of love, compassion, and dedication to her family. She attended schools in Claremore and graduated with the class of 1960. It was during this time that she met the love of her life, Raymond Odell Hinds. On June 25, 1960, they exchanged vows and embarked on a wonderful journey together. Claremore became their forever home where they raised their children.

Wilma worked alongside Raymond at Hinds Construction through the years. In 1981, they decided to open Wilma's Pool and Patio. Their hard work and dedication made their business a success serving the community.

While Wilma pursued her professional endeavors, she never lost sight of what truly mattered to her - family. She was not only a devoted wife and mother but also an extended family member who always lent a helping hand whenever it was needed. Wilma's heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Their presence brought immense joy to her life. In addition to being an exceptional caregiver and homemaker, Wilma had various hobbies that brought her delight. Alongside Raymond, she enjoyed bowling as well as exploring new destinations through travel. She also found excitement in testing her luck at the slot machines during her leisure time. One of Wilma's passions was collecting cars, particularly old Thunderbirds; she owned five magnificent automobiles that brought a smile to her face.

Wilma will be remembered for her kind-hearted nature, her unwavering support, and her ability to make those around her feel loved. She leaves behind an extensive network of surviving family and friends who are forever grateful to have had her in their lives. Wilma is survived by her children Stoney Hinds and wife Ginger, Scott Hinds, Stacy Hinds and wife Suzi, Bill Hinds and wife Keri, and Angela Harges.
