Wilson  Ohler
Services honoring and remembering Wilson Neville Ohler will be held 11:00a.m., Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Claremore, OK with interment to follow at the Oakhaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday evening. Wilson Ohler passed away Sunday August 18, 2019 at the VA Center in Claremore.
Wilson Ohler was born August 23, 1925 in Dewey, OK, the son of Clayton Ohler and Charlotte (Crumpeln) Ohler. Raised and reared in Dewey and Bartlesville, he joined the US Navy and served his country on patrol ships based often out of Hawaii.
After his time of service, he attended the Oklahoma School of Accountancy and received his bachelor's degree in Business. It was at that time he met a young Peggy Patterson who was also attending the School. The two were married on October 20, 1950 in Tulsa.
Wilson worked as an accountant for several Oil companies, until his retirement in 1994.
Wilson was a very humorous man, who will be remembered for his funny sayings and good nature. He was a Christian, and a member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Claremore for over 30 years.
Wilson is preceded in death by his parents, A daughter: Aneice Rodriguez; one brother: Gordan Ohler; and one sister: Jane Jackson
Wilson is survived by his wife Peggy of the home; one daughter: Erin Teague of Claremore, and her husband Mike; three grandchildren: Mikaela Busher of Inola, Brock Rodriguez of Claremore, Camerin Teague of Claremore, Chyandra Teague of Claremore; son-in-law: David Rodriguez of Claremore and his wife Barbie; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
His favorite cartoon character was Dennis the Menace, He must have felt a kinship there.
As you depart today, as Wilson would say, "Don't take any wooden nickels."

Dearest Peggy, Erin and family
